Jon Morgan is a veteran journalist with experience in digital, print and broadcast. He spent 21 years at the Baltimore Sun, starting as a maritime reporter and ending as assistant managing editor for enterprise reporting, winning awards along the way. He left to work at the Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism and then on to Bloomberg News' Washington bureau first as an editor at large, then as a team leader and finally as a senior editor. He oversaw coverage of climate change, Boeing jet disasters and the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, among other topics. Also co-edited a daily newsletter on politics. He's written two books, raised three daughters and lives in Baltimore.
